Christopher Girgenti, MLIS is a Library Specialist at Winthrop University (Rock Hill, South Carolina, United States) where he maintains the print and electronic serials catalog. His interest in cataloging began while working as a technical services student employee during his master’s degree, which he recently obtained from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. While pursuing the MLIS degree, Christopher was active in the School of Music and took courses in music theory and ethnomusicology. With his extensive background in music, Christopher hopes to someday become a music librarian.
